Forever war? Iran has been at war with us for almost 50 years. Trump is the one finally putting an end to the "forever war." Previous Administrations - both Republican and Democrat - were cowed by the Iranians bluster and threats. Trump is the first one to call their bluff.
The despicable Democrats along with their isolationist Republican fellow travelers have forgotten about the Iranians taking our embassy personnel hostage in 1979, the Beirut barracks bombing, the torture and murder of USMC Lt Col William R. Higgins by Iranian proxies in Beirut, the Khobar Towers bombing, all the US service personnel killed and maimed by Iranian supplied weapons to the Iraqi insurgents - not the least Iranian supplied EFPs and RKG 3 grenades. The Iranians tried to assassinate the Saudi ambassador here in the US and they have ongoing attempts to assassinate Trump and other high level American politicians. The TDS deranged psychos don't care about any of it. All they care about is "hate Trump."
Every day, the Iranians promised "Death to America" and they tried to make it happen with their nuclear weapons and ICBM programs.
The reason the Iranians became the problem they became is because the very people clutching their pearls today lacked the wisdom and the guts to take effective action. Look up Theodore Roosevelt's "The Man in the Arena" speech. It's a wonderful exposition on the difference between doers and the pusillanimous weaklings who only criticize and carp.
And yet again, the Dems & their media are completely clueless. There has never been a stupider group of people in America. They don’t know history, strategy, leverage, military power, or how to win. The RINOs are no better. They don’t even care if we win, they just want to pad their bank accounts. All of these failed leaders financially benefited from the military industrial complex and that drives a lot of anger at Trump & his supporters. But he sure is stacking up some BIG wins & it looks like a lot of the world is behind him. Not the leaders, certainly not the lame EU, but the people are.
Ignoramuses => The key issue in my mind. There are so many of them - it feels endless. ANG Pilot mentioned "The Man in the Arena" - none of the hippopotamuses step in the arena to perform a positive act. Because they are ignoramuses, they step in the arena for negative, destructive acts, or they do nothing but shoot their mouths off spouting incorrect information. Last month I watched a reporter go through crowds in NYC, asking each person, "Who did the US fight in WWII" - NO ONE KNEW. Our schools/colleges need to become a focused priority; our families need to remember their grandparents. We can't even remove the snow and trash in the streets of NYC. Ok, Mom, I will shut up ....... Yes, Mom, you really need to understand what it means to lose a war, live in a Socialist country, struggle daily without food or sleep (leaving the room now). Rise up and enter the arena.
I would like to congratulate Senator Van Holland for being first among morons!
Kudos to democrat John Fetterman, the one sane democrat that has come out in favor of the strikes and promising to vote NO on any resoltution to block the president from carrying out the decimation of the Iranian theocracy that has recently killed 30K-40K of Iranian citizens. Senator Fetterman, the man many felt was too diminished to win election after having a stroke stated on Maria Bartiromo's show that Trump advised Congress. The President now has 60 days, with a possible 30 day extension before asking Congress to declare war. Let's all pray the objectives will be achieved before that is necessary.
Focus of Blue's article: the title "Monumental Change of Strategy"=> I will call it "How Do You Eat an Elephant?" A: One bite at a time. The military has used the approach for many years: guerilla warfare. But it has only been in recent years that the approach has gained widespread focus and acceptance - it's now called the branch of Special Operations: high level goals broken into small, defined, achievable objectives using speed, suprise, and
significant force. The Totalitarian Master tells the DOW WHAT his goal is. The Big Cheeses in DOW break the goal into objectives. If they are too big, the big OBJs are broken into smaller sub-OBJs. Then they are prioritized. OBJ1 is "cut off the head of the snake" - remove the leaders, which creates confusion and fear. Then on to OBJ2. This phase is focused on HOW. Then on to OBJ3. Throughout this phase the issue of WHY is revisited. Shake, rinse, devour until the elephant has been consumed. Yes, technology has inserted itself, but the process doesn't change. So what is the change in strategy? The thought process/mindset of the military has been inserted by Special Ops experience, and the Totalitarian Master understands what a leader should do at the top - he starts the engine, reviews the progress, makes needed adjustments, involves his Big Cheeses in the needed changes, who pass it down the hierarchy - it is an iterated process that involves everyone. It is no longer "do as I say, and salute" - everybody at all levels are involved in the changes. How do I know this - it's a long story that can't fit in a comment.
