Democrats: Trying to Change Their Image but They Can't Help Themselves.
This is who they are.
It is now conventional wisdom that the Democratic party has “lost its way.” It is said to be leaderless, lacking a “message,” and out of touch with mainstream voters. They and their ancien régime troops in the media solemnly pronounce that they must “reshape their image,” come up with “better messaging,” or something similar. Often these suggest poll-tested memes and issues rather than a fundamental core belief. So, can they change?
Remember the frog and the scorpion and read on.
What will they do?
The Dems are floundering; they are failing. So, what are they going to do? We know a few things. They are going to “Fight, fight, fight!” After all, it worked for Trump.
I can just hear Hakeem Jeffries now: If it worked for Trump, it will work for us, right? Here we go. Woo hoo!
What image does that conjure up? How about this one? It is at least consistent with the public ridicule that “Choose Your Fighter” has spawned.
Does any sane person think that a video of women bouncing up and down like Goofy on a trampoline will convince voters that they are the fighters necessary to lead the country. Not a freakin’ chance. Especially with AOC and Jasmine Crockett in the line-up of fighters the Dems are promoting.
“Who are those guys?”
Having been butchered in the last election, Democrats are trying to figure out how to regain power. Some pretend to be trying to change their “image” or “messaging.” But is it a change of their core substance or only of a superficial image? In the venacular, are they just “blowing smoke?” How can we know?
Sometimes the truth can be glimpsed through the smokescreen. Let’s start at the top (assuming the Party has a top) with Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. In an unguarded moment he spelled out the Democrats’ resistance agenda: “We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. And we’re going to fight it in the streets.”
Sometimes they say what they mean: “We’re going to fight it in the streets.”
He is serious. But we have seen that “fight in the streets” before with the BLM riots and the Antifa shock troops. And, of course, there was then-Senator Kamala Harris who, in her first speech after being anointed as the Democrat Vice-Presidial nominee, referred to the rioters who were burning down Kenosha, Wisconsin: “People are rightfully angry and exhausted...it’s no wonder people are taking to the streets. And I support them.”
“Take it to the streets,” you say? Well, here ya’ go.

That is their strategy at work. When you hear the top Democrat in the House of Representatives promising that “We’re going to fight it in the streets,” remember it is not just rhetoric. It is their strategy.
The President’s Joint Address to Congress
Trump’s Joint Address to Congress also gave us a good look at who they are. One of the highlights was the President’s recognition of a courageous 13-year-old cancer survivor, Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel. You know his story by now.
For me one of the most endearing parts was the obvious pride that his beaming father, Theodis Daniel, exuded. This was a man who could not be more proud if his son had won five Olympic gold medals. Who could fail to stand, applaud and empathize with this courageous young boy? That question was answered by Rep. Laura Gillen, a Long Island Democrat, who complained that although she stood and applauded DJ, “I was disappointed that I was not joined by any of my colleagues.”
What of the others? Let’s see . . . . Here are two prominent Democrats at the very moment when the Secret Service Director awarded DJ his credentials as a USSS agent. On your left you see the current Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee. The joy just oozes from her pores. On the right you have an obviously disinterested holder of Michigan’s Dingell Family House seat. Empathy? She could not be more disinterested in DJ’s story or recognition. Probably reading her cell phone.
And, of course, there were others whom the Democrats uniformly refused to recognize, much less applaud. There was Jason Hartley, the young man whose dream was to go to West Point and the President announced that he had been accepted. Doesn’t that at least bring a smile to most normal people’s faces?
And, of course, there was much more evil afoot. Look at the treatment afforded the mother of Laken Riley, the Georgia nursing student murdered by an illegal invader; and Payton McNabb, the high school girls’ volleyball player who was spiked in the face by a boy pretending to be a girl, causing traumatic brain injury and the end of her volleyball career. More yawns from the Dems. Not just yawns, though. Look at this from Emma Vigeland, a prominent (among leftists) “progressive” journalist and political commentator who has been described as “a prominent voice in the new media landscape:”
“Hahahahahahahahaha.” ‘Just love that traumatic brain injury, b*tch.’ What sick people these are. Has a single Democrat condemned this?
The frog and the scorpion
The current crop of Dems may try to change their image, their message or other superficial characteristics. But they have shown who they are. The above is just a sprinkling. There is more, much more, that shows who they really are at their core. But for now, I will just close by noting that it’s in their nature. Do not be fooled. Do not be the frog.
Never underestimate your enemy...and never underestimate the Dems ability to resurrect themselves.
They have a propaganda machine at their disposal that would make Goebbels blush with envy.
When I was in college, a single class for a course was called a section and consisted of roughly 15 students. So if 300 students were taking a course, there was 20 sections (300/15). The sections were organized in a hierarchy: the student with the best grade average in the course sat at the first desk of the first section...the student with the lowest grade average sat in the 15th desk (the last one) in the 20th section (the last one). This behavior existed for every course. The top-ranked students were called the Engineers; the bottom-ranked students were called the Goats. You yourself experienced a similar behavior: the top students were in honor classes, the social misfits who didn't want to learn were in the "Rock" classes.
Now we have political divisions. Look at the Democrats: how do they act/behave? As noted in this article: they act as Goats. Do they show intelligence? Come on, be honest - who is talking with intelligence? OK, this is becoming long in length;
are you seeing brains in action or emotional outbursts? The End
