I often refer to the media as “allies” of Harris, Biden, and the Democrats in general, or as members of their tribe. Do you think that is rhetorical excess? If so, please consider how the media is controlling the narrative to boost their allies/tribe members.
I will limit this short post to two examples.
Facebook
Do you want to get some information from Facebook’s AI company about the assassination attempt on Trump? Don’t bother. They can’t tell you anything, because they “don’t always have access to the most up-to-date information.”
But what if you want to know something that would require up-to–date information about Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign? No problem. Facebook is here to help.
Google
And you know how the AI features for a Google search will begin to give you suggestions as you begin to type in the search terms? Take a look at this sequence. Let’s type in “assassination.” Well, we got some suggestions — Truman, Archduke Ferdinand and even Jessie James.
When we add a little more with “attempt,” we get several suggestions:
Obviously, that adds a few more — Ronald Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt, Pope John Paul II and others. Let’s see what happens if we narrow it a bit more by starting a name:
We get only one suggestion other than the text typed in. But lots of blank space.
“Democracy dies in darkness”?
Controlling the narrative and limiting information that citizens can see is one of the tools of totalitarians. Google, Facebook and other members of the media know what the government and the other members of their tribe want.
We're being subjected to the most pervasive, sophisticated propaganda machine the world has ever known.
Even Goebbels couldn't imagine it.
