These children now have insights and awareness, not found in many adults. To all the fallen, please accept my salute, for your love of this Country, and the supreme sacrifice you have made. To those who have not fallen....Thank you for your service!
Mr Lucas - thank you for shining the light on two Veterans we otherwise would never be aware of (Garney & Col Puckett). Both accounts reflect the dedication & selflessness that seems to be the hallmark of the American fighting man. And just fyi about two years ago I began this ongoing documentary project ( www.shotandastory.org ) because as a lifelong student of Military History I was aware the vast majority of World War II Vets never recorded their experiences either on paper or on camera. Now most of them are sadly gone. Felt the same thing should not happen to Vietnam Veterans nor Veterans of succeeding conflicts + it’s the best way to preserve their experiences for their family, friends, & posterity. There’s a good amount of material published by Veterans on Vietnam & later conflicts, but seems most of the Veterans I come into contact with at American Legion Posts think (or feel) no one would care. I’m on a mission to prove that wrong & - to a large extent - already have as we crossed the rubicon of now over 100,000 views on YouTube. So on this Memorial Day here’s a salute to you & all Veterans; a heartfelt thank you & welcome home!
Its a fact that all trickles that turn into streams , creeks, rivers , and oceans begin with a 'blue' drop. '

Former Judge Advocate General Mike Nardotti is the best, full stop. Helped me in my professional career numerous times.
You have lots of company, my friend.
