Democrats make quite a bit out of Trump being convicted by "a jury of his peers"for 34 "felonies" for crimes no one seems to be able to articulate.

Unfortunately for them, their New York jury of 12 was overridden by a nationwide jury of about 76.9 million.

If the "justice system" cares a whit about its own integrity, this farce will be dismissed and Trump's record wiped clean somewhere up the appeals chain; and Bragg and Merchan will be sanctioned for their gross abuse of judicial process.

They knew all along they were wrong and they had 2 built-in outcomes and final rulings. If Harris would have won the election, Trump would have been fully prosecuted. But since he did win, rather than the court admitting defeat, they went ahead and did what they did. Thereby saving face and making it look like they were in the right all along.

Normal people find the conduct of the self proclaimed Democratic elite to be REPULSIVE. 🤮 What used to be the party of the working man is now the party of the left wing, which has become hateful, intolerant and condescending, providing a helpful acronym of HIC. The HICs are slowly destroying the Democratic Party. Its end can’t come soon enough.

Love the dog and pony show stuff!! I am so beyond caring what they say or think. They’re willfully gullible idiots and deserve everything coming their way.

I was unsure about whether to use the dog and pony logo, since it was sort of mixing metaphors -- dog and pony show v. Potemkin hearing. But I decided to close with it but without comment. Glad you liked it!

Outstanding analysis, John. It's among your best work. What a sham the entire thing was from start to finish, this Marxist Show Trial so emblematic of China, Russia and now Democrats.

You are correct. I well remember how we used to read about the show trials in USSR and think how totalitarian they were. 1984-type stuff.

I am a legal idiot. But telling me that Trump committed 34 felony crimes but does not receive any punishment reveals the utter stupidity of all the people that say such reasoning makes any sense. I would be embarassed to acknowledge the idea deserves praise. Then to express joy over saying Trump is a felon when the appeal will say otherwise just screams that this absurdity is itself a crime and requires an investigation.

Clinton is a convicted felon and disbarred to boot.

I can't find any reference to Clinton having been convicted of a felony. But you make a good point implicitly, i.e., the media doesn't constantly refer to him as a disbarred atty.
