This reminds me of the time I was before a federal judge in Puerto Rico when he brought me into chambers to berate me under a pretext about the length of my memorandum of law when in reality is was a veiled threat to try to have me withdraw my motion for sanctions. Because I insisted to be on the record, he begrudging granted my motion with the tiniest amount of sanctions. It took a year and tens of thousands of dollars to obtain the monetary amount sought through an appeal to the 1st Circuit in Boston. Some of these judges are gangsters. And I am retired to so the Bar can kiss my ....

A logical argument can be made that the bond should be some multiple of $58,000,000,000

It is not necessarily a mixed metaphor to use the terms “into the weeds” with “inside baseball.” This sometimes happens at Chicago’s Wrigley Field when a well batted ball gets stuck in the “ivy” covering the outfield walls.

You b*****d! This is the worst temptation since that oh so lovely girl invited me to her dorm after midnight! Just how can I afford so much good analysis from Substack?!!!

Seriously, if you pray, pray for her and her family. I was honorable to her. She became a mother and grandmother and died young of brain cancer last year.

We're living in a post-constitutional Country.

What's happening now is a continuation of the lawfare that's been waged for the last eight years. It's a coordinated effort to impose the Deep State's will on us, ensure the status quo remains, and kneecap Trump's Administration.

There are no mechanisms to effectively stop these abuses of judicial authority. In a sane world, SCOTUS as the overall manager of the federal judicial system would step in and bring these rogue judges to heel. Unfortunately, we don't live in a sane world. Neither SCOTUS nor Congress have the guts to stop this flagrant abuse.

It's frustrating as hell that, other than making furious comments on the internet, we ordinary people are powerless to change what these corrupt politicians in black robes are doing to us.

Be of good cheer. The lower judiciary are shameless and opportunistic.

Upon review of the Supremes those evildoers will be disciplined.

Is Letitia James's problems with falsified property deals got anything to do with this?

Whatever happened to the responsibility to mot obey an ‘illegal’/‘illegitimate’ order? If an appointed judge, an elected official, or anyone else oversteps the legal boundaries of either the law or their authority, why wouldn’t their orders not only be dismissed, but charges be filed against the culprit. I have wondered for years how we can have integrity in a legal system that essentially has no practical restraints on judges (regardless of their position) no matter how outlandish their rulings are.

As to "political appointee" isn't the Secretary of Treasury vetted and voted on by Congress and becomes a Federal Employee?

My suggestion to the President is to state unequivocally that he and his branch of government will not consider any of the TROs effective, as they are in breach of constitutional separation of powers. Further, that his Secretary of the Treasury is directed to shut off all funding of the out of control judges, including the pay for them and their staffs. Shut them down. Let the judges know they will not be obeyed, but will be considered in active rebellion against the Executive Branch. Remove their US Marshals. Assign them to other duties in the federal system. Treat these treasonous judges as the traitors to America they are. Cut off their money entirely.

The Constitution clearly defines the roles of Legislature, Executive and Judiciary.

That makes it clear how to discipline each branch if and when it overreaches.

the SOLE issue is mustering the will to discipline poaching.

Today, it is the progressives who transgress, and suffer the wrath of an abused electorate.
