The Democrats Pretend to Wake Up

Most of the rest of the country has been awake (but not woke) for quite a while.

Biden’s lack of capacity has been obvious for years.

Over three months ago I published a SubStack article titled, “Biden's Disconnection from Reality Has Become Unacceptable” and sub-titled, “The Country cannot afford to ignore the Commander-in-Chief's lack of mental capacity for the job.”

I concluded that article with an observation and a question:

[T]he disconnected man who is ultimately responsible for deterring our enemies and protecting the Country from those threats clearly is not capable of fulfilling his duties. That is what we are stuck with, at least for the time being. We are in very dangerous times.

How can this be allowed to continue?

I certainly was not the first person to notice Biden’s obvious lack of capacity and capabilities. Indeed, Republicans, and other independent media have been pointing it out literally for years. But they were viciously attacked for doing so because it threatened the Democrats’ power.

You will remember that Special Counsel Hur recommended that President Biden not be prosecuted that it would be difficult to obtain a conviction of an “elderly man with a poor memory,” who also suffered from “diminished faculties.” At that time, I wrote about the Biden’s testimony and those findings in Joe Biden’s Interview with Special Counsel Hur is Worse than You’ve Heard (Part 1), and again in "The Only Time I Ever Lied" -- Joe Biden's Interview with the Special Counsel Is Worse Than You've Heard (Part 2).

But the Democrats irresponsibly savaged Hur for his findings, even though they were required by DOJ regulations to justify his recommendation not to prosecute President Biden.

And Democrats from the White House Press Secretary to Nany Pelosi, the entire Cabinet and virtually every Democrat in Congress, have continually assured us that Biden was in tip-top shape, capable and ready to continue leading the country. They all went along with rigging the Democrat primaries to ensure that his glory would not be diminished by any significant opposition. And, of course, the captive tribal media went along and reinforced the lie.

But they all knew that they were lying. They just hoped that they could get away with it until the election was in the bag.

And then came the debate.

On June 27, indeed, the entire world, saw that we had been fed a bag of lies. On June 30, just three days after the debate, USA Today reported that according to a CBS poll, 72% of all voters, including 49% of Democrats, “do not believe Biden has the mental or cognitive health to serve as president.”

After the debate, the Democrats suddenly professed to have experienced a dramatic “Road to Damascus” moment. After months of assuring us that Biden was the best person in the entire country to be our Commander-in-chief, they have suddenly realized that he is not up to the job — That his mental capabilities are - let us put it politely - slipping.

They can feel their power slipping away. And it gets worse for them every day. Their party is in disarray. So, let by Pelosi and Obama, although some still try to “lead from behind” (to coin an Obama phrase), they are now trying to dump the President as unfit to continue. Suddenly a soft coup seems acceptable.

In view of the Democrats’ support of their intra-party insurrection with their insistence that they just didn’t know how bad off Biden was, I humbly ask you to consider just one example by looking back at what I wrote over three months ago on this topic. It follows immediately below.

The Country cannot afford to ignore the Commander-in-Chief's lack of mental capacity for the job.

Biden’s demonstrated inability to respond to questions and coherently address issues are now occurring on a daily basis. But his performance in Pennsylvania last Tuesday, in one of his rare interviews should be the final nail in the coffin for any deniers who still cling to hope that Biden might somehow be fit for office.

In the video below (beginning at 1:52) Biden describes a meeting with Hamas supporters and how he planned to win them over for the November elections. Look at it and focus on his rambling description (at 1:57 to 2:16) of how he curried favor with the terrorist supporters by strongly warning the Israelis essentially to stop trying to defeat Hamas.

To win over the pro-Hamas types he says, “I had a meeting with them…. And I made it clear to Israelis, ‘don’t move on Haifa.’”

“Don’t move on Haifa.” What a disconnect from reality! Haifa, as (almost) everyone knows, is in Israel. This is the equivalent of warning Putin, “Don’t you dare move on St. Petersburg.” And as virtually everyone except Joe Biden knows, his handlers have made it a centerpiece of their pro-Hamas strategy to have Biden warn Israel not to attack Rafah. He recently even implied that the U.S. would cut off or restrict military aid to Israel if it did not obey his command to leave the Hamas terrorists undisturbed in their Rafah redout. But Biden does not even know which city he has been threatening Israel about, or where it is.

This was not just a momentary slip of the tongue. Biden did not correct himself and say something like, “Oops. Of course, I meant to say that I warned them not to move on Rafah.” No, immediately after claiming that he had warned the Israelis to stay clear of Haifa, Biden lapsed into his characteristic stumbling incoherence, topped off with his signature closing, “a… a … anyway….” Watch and listen.

There are, of course, numerous other examples of similar episodes. There is no need to attempt to catalog them all here. For those who are interested, you can watch five straight minutes of them here.

In his Report, Special Counsel Hur charitably characterized Biden as having “limited precision and recall.” That was about as charitable a description that Hur could possibly have given. The truth of the matter is — and I have never heard a single person deny this — there is no Fortune 500 Company, or any other significant business for that matter, whose board would even consider Biden as a possible candidate if they were hiring a CEO. He would be politely ushered out the building. But if Biden is not mentally capable of running, say, a baby food company, why is he still the Chief Executive of the country with the largest and most complex economy in the world? And why are his hangers-on trying to convince us not to believe our lying eyes, and that he should be hired for another four years?

Similarly, there is no way in the world that an Army military officer displaying Biden’s “limited precision and recall” would ever be permitted to command troops at any level. Not even in today’s woke environment. But even though he plainly is not fit to command a battalion (or anything else), Biden still sits as Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful and the most complex military in the world. As such, he is responsible for life-and-death decisions over the lives of all our military service members. And despite his obvious lack of mental capacity, he remains responsible for evaluating highly complex plans and strategies to make the proper decisions to protect all Americans and our homeland from literally existential threats. As my drill sergeant would have said, “We are in deep kimchi.”

Foreign leaders, including friends, adversaries and enemies — yes, we have enemies, not just adversaries — see this and evaluate it the same way intelligent people here do.

They all see Biden’s weakness, but our adversaries and enemies make plans to capitalize on that weakness. It is past time for our so-called leaders to speak frankly and bluntly: Biden’s “limited precision and recall” — his weakness of both mind and character — has led to the deaths of Americans. And make no mistake about it, such feebleness on the part of a commander-in-chief will be the cause of more deaths and very likely wider wars.

We are no longer insulated from attack by the oceans. As you read this, our enemies are planning attacks on our homeland, on our infrastructure and on our people. These enemies are already testing cyber-attacks that could wreck our economy, causing unprecedented havoc like nothing we have ever experienced. And the disconnected man who is ultimately responsible for deterring our enemies and protecting the Country from those threats clearly is not capable of fulfilling his duties. That is what we are stuck with, at least for the time being. We are in very dangerous times.

How can this be allowed to continue?
