You are correct, Aaron. Nothing will change without accountability. The media will pitch that as Trump being vindictive, but if there are no consequences for bad acts, then we get more of the same
John I'm a recent subscriber and the little I've seen of your work is very encouraging. You don't pull your punches. I have one question/comment for you coming from an old old man whose first presidential vote was for Jack Kennedy. When will the so called elites in Washington really deserve that title? Now Washington is peopled by the elites all feeding out of the money trough. Work in government then when that gig is up go to private industry to make your fortune. This country is being pulled down by the worst sort of individual whose only goal is the accumulation of more power and more money. And Joe Biden and his Snopes family is a perfect example of what I am saying.

To be a successful liar, one must have an excellent memory. Biden's is clearly failing, the more he slips into his dementia. He is so used to lying and getting away with it that he is offended when caught in his habit.

What did it mean when he said, “So why do I have 2017 here?” Did he have notes in front of him to remind him of things and he STILL couldn’t get it right?
Your guess is the best that I have been able to come up with. I am surprised that the prosecutors did not make the notes and exhibit to the transcript. That would have been my practice. In addition, when he said that, it would generate some fairly obvious follow up questions that were not asked. Puzzling.
