The speed by which the trans movement has captured “mainstream” institutions and the Democratic Party astonishes me. Last week, my daughter called to tell me that her children’s preschool had hired a trans teacher (with no notification to the parents.) My son-in-law was picking up their child and saw a man in a dress and immediately went to the director’s office. The director seemed surprised that my son-in-law was upset (although she admitted that she had reveived some calls from other parents) and told him that, since it was “picture day,” she had told this teacher that he could “celebrate themself” and not adhere to the usual dress code. Unbelievable! (Of course, they pulled my grandson out of the preschool right away.) Fortunately, my daughter has flexible work and lots of family to help out, but there are a lot of families who don’t have much childcare flexibility and never imagined that this would be an issue they would be facing. Ditto for parents who can’t afford private or parochial school (or to homeschool.) The vigilance that parents have to exercise these days due to progressive policies and values is daunting.

Biden outdid himself and his administration Sunday, sinking to a new low. He wouldn't dare step on Ramadan by proclaiming that month (it's ongoing now) as Transgender Month of Visibility because THAT would offend Muslims mightily. This was a calculated action, groveling to the Trans activists in the Democrat party, where devout Christians need not apply. Only in the Democrat party does one find American politicians who loathe Christianity, and who revile Israel. Why would any Jew or any Christian support Biden and his party?

But most of them don't merit a Presidential Proclamation and entry in the Federal Register. For this particular day, Presidential recognition began with President Biden, not 15 years ago.
